The most joyous time of the year. And, what a way to end this year, not being able to celebrate the reason for the season with family. Our Christmas was fairly simple this year. We had dinner as a family Christmas evening and then opened presents. It was extremely difficult to not be able to have my grandparents right there with us, but luckily we got to see them social distanced. We drove out to Oakley the day after Christmas and sat outside with my grandparents. I could really tell that they enjoyed us coming even if it had to be modified. God granted us with perfect weather that day, which was in the mid 60s. I loved getting to do this even though it was so hard not to give them hugs goodbye. I know that hopefully in the near future we are able to hang out again and give hugs. This normally would be a very long, and insightful post about this wonderful time of year, but I am sorry, because I just don't have that much to add. I will say that I am lucky enough to have a healthy family during this holiday season, and I am very blessed.
